01 DC Student Travel Privacy-preserving inference of metropolitan student mobility.
An MIT Transit Lab research project reconstructing Washington, DC student travel under partial observability. Combines synthetic population generation (PASS), Event-APC ridership inference, GTFS routing, and fare-card analytics to estimate home-school travel demand, transit usage, accessibility, and service impacts without requiring student-level home address records.
02 The FlyerApp A next-generation aviation journal and flight intelligence platform.
A personal flight history system designed for aviation enthusiasts, integrating aircraft, airports, airlines, routes, reviews, statistics, and travel analytics into a unified long-term flight knowledge base rather than a traditional logbook.
03 Complex Urban Systems Modeling cities under incomplete observation.
Research on computational urban science, probabilistic inference, and AI for cities. Current work focuses on reconstructing hidden urban dynamics by integrating heterogeneous mobility, demographic, transport, and infrastructure data into interpretable large-scale urban models.
04 China Aviation Industry Industrial evolution of China's commercial aircraft ecosystem.
Research examining the technological development of China's large civil aircraft industry, including supply-chain capability, manufacturing ecosystems, certification pathways, industrial policy, and global competitiveness.
05 Cross-Border Commuting Understanding international mobility across administrative boundaries.
An AI for Science project investigating how borders influence commuting behavior, accessibility, economic integration, and transport demand. The project combines routing, census, mobility, and geographic data to quantify cross-border friction in metropolitan regions.
06 VEXTA Visual EXtensible Text Architecture.
A local-first research IDE for technical writing, reproducible science, and AI-assisted knowledge work. VEXTA combines structured Markdown editing, instant document rendering, visual project management, integrated computation, and extensible workflows into a unified environment for modern research.
